Ripe for nightmares...

I’ve written before about the question of why we find clowns scary, and how it links to the uncanny valley effect. I’ve never really found them spooky until recently, and I think some of that is the infectious idea that there’s something to be afraid of, which never used to even cross my mind.

Even so, I’m not sure I’d fancy a night here. All those eyes, and those smiles, fixed on you in the dark.
